Next Week's Lesson #2 – God Creates Adam and Eve
In the beginning, God created the world with many
natural resources
so that it would be a wonderful place for His most treasured creation,
human beings, to live. Next week in Sunday School, our students will hear
how God created people in His own image (Genesis 1:26–2:25), including
providing them with perfect physical attributes and a lush garden
in which to live. Refer to the First Article of the Apostles’ Creed and
its explanation in your discussions and say them together as you Grow in Christ.

Last Week's Lesson #1 - God Creates the World
Beginning of the Fall Quarter
“In the beginning . . .” It is fitting that we
began our study with God’s account
of the beginning of all things, His creation of the universe and
all that is in it (Genesis 1–2:2). Parents, during the week,
point out to your children some of the wonderful things in our world
that God made and praise Him for these creations in your family devotions
as you Grow in Christ.
